What's a full stack developer ?

A Full Stack developer is a professional with a complete and versatile knowledge of the different layers of software development. They are able to work on both client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) development.

On the front-end, the Full Stack developer uses technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and can also work with libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc., to create an interactive and attractive user interface.

On the back-end, they deal with business logic and data management, using programming languages such as PHP, Java, Python, etc., and database management systems such as MySQL. They may also work with various server architectures and APIs, and handle systems administration.

The Full Stack developer must also have skills in version control (such as Git), testing, deployment, and an understanding of good programming and design practices. This enables them to work on the whole project, from design to production, and to collaborate effectively with different teams.

In short, a Full Stack developer is capable of managing the entire development process of an application or website, combining the necessary front-end and back-end skills to create a complete and functional solution.
